A young hopeful teenager is waiting for his unknown and fantasized father to come out of prison. His family dream life is seriously undermined by an exhausted mother and a man who, after so many years in jail, has become unable to be a responsible father.
Achille a 13 ans et il n'a jamais vraiment connu son père. Il habite avec sa mère qui est sur le point d'emménager avec son amoureux. Son quotidien bascule le jour où son père sort de prison. Joe est un être violent et manipulateur et il fera tout pour reconquérir son ancienne flamme. Devant le refus de cette dernière, il tente de se rapprocher de son fils qui l'idolâtre et qui l'aidera à ressouder le tissu familial. Les erreurs du passé ne seront toutefois pas faciles à oublier et recommencer à zéro ne se fera pas sans heurts...
